Circle of Moms is a social network all about parenting and making it simple for moms to share stories, problems and learned tips about motherhood. Users can make friendships and connections with other moms in the community and begin building up their "circle of moms" who are basically like-minded moms in their community.

The site offers public communities like Recipe Swaps, Money Saving Tips, Toddler Moms and communities by the birth month for pregnant moms and moms of newborns. Any unique or possible community could actually be created here. Users can also use the "Moms Near Me" feature to locate nearby mommies so they can keep up to date on the newest restaurants, events and local resources for moms and their families in the local community.
Circle of Moms works both on its own social network but it also integrates with Facebook.

Circle of Moms is a San Francisco, California operation that launched in October 2008 and very quickly found a dedicated following of moms and their families who are looking for support and feedback.

Over two million moms joined the Circle in the first six months. As of April 2012, the Circle has grown to over 6 million mommies strong. Circle of Moms raised $1.5 million in financing from the investors Floodgate Fund and SoftTech VC. In February 2012, Circle of Moms became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sugar, Inc.

Circle of Moms is a community designed to help mom's conquer and master the challenging, and frankly, sometimes daunting task of being a new mommy. Infants, toddlers and children are all full of so many surprises and Circle of Moms help prepare women to be the best mommy's that they can be. If a child is sick in the middle of the night, there is a ton of helpful information and in fact other mom's available through the Circle who can offer advice. Circle of Moms is made to support moms on all kinds of issues.

The site is well designed and easy to navigate. It is very responsive and there were no issue encountered during this review. The forums are engaging and easy to follow and topics are simply located through the web site search or through a logical browse.

New mommy's can sign up for the Circle by either linking their Facebook page or building a new COM profile. New members can sign up by clicking on the 'Join Now!' link in the upper-right corner.

The site requests the following information to setup a new account: name, email, password, gender, and zip code. Users also need to accept the Circle of Mom terms and conditions and privacy policy. It's a quick and simple sign-up process that can be completed in seconds.

Circle of Moms is completely free to use. The site is supported by advertising revenue and certain promotions that they sponsor towards moms.

Circle of Moms is obviously geared toward mothers of young children. However any woman who is expecting to empty nesters could find value in joining the circle as well. In fact, men who are new fathers may also find value in joining the circle as well. Anyone with an interest in having and raising children could find something useful at the Circle of Moms website.
